will be returning here soon
The room had a lovely balcony with breathtaking views of Vangsvatnet lake. Amenities included a comfortable sofa, flat-screen TV, and a well-maintained private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The sauna added a nice relaxation option after a day of exploring. The breakfast was a buffet with plenty of variety, including freshly baked goods and real coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially being so close to the ski resort, which was perfect for our family outings. The groomed cross-country skiing slopes were amazing, and the kids loved the ski school. It was a delightful experience to have our pets with us while enjoying the expansive views.
In my wife’s opinion, the rooms could use some serious updates. Adding more family-friendly amenities would make it much better.

The standout dining experience at Restaurant Élysée was simply divine, boasting seasonal dishes and an extensive wine list. Plus, the breakfast spread was quite decent, filling us up for our adventures. Don't miss the local vibe at nearby spots like Café Stationen and MG Restaurant-Pub for a true taste of Voss!
Though we were initially given a room that wasn't cleaned, the staff was quite understanding and promptly accommodated us. While the new room had its quirks, like pillows hiding in the wardrobe, we still managed to find a cozy nook after a long day.

Stunning lake views and cozy atmosphere
I truly enjoyed the breathtaking view of Vangsvatnet lake from my Queen Room. it was a real highlight of my stay! The Elysee restaurant offered an impressive buffet dinner and breakfast with a fantastic selection of dishes and an extensive wine list. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making my experience even better. However, the room could benefit from better temperature control for a more comfortable stay.

Stunning views of the lake from the room. Limited hot water availability in the morning made the shower experience frustrating. Perfect location for skiing and hiking adventures nearby. Breakfast options were decent but not exceptional.

missingWrote a review on Nov 03lake viewdining optionsbuffet qualitynoisy rooms
Stunning lake views from the upper floors make mornings memorable here. The buffet dining options sport a variety of local flavors, and the dining experience at the restaurant delivers quality with a cozy atmosphere.
Rooms feel outdated, with issues like inconsistent temperature control and occasional noise disturbances from neighboring rooms that might spoil a good night's sleep. Hot water availability can be finicky, particularly during busy mornings, and the common areas can get a bit chaotic with large groups that fill up the dining spaces, making it a challenge for individual guests seeking a quieter atmosphere.
